The Deacons are responsible for matters pertaining to the spiritual welfare of First Armenian Church, assisting the pastor in various ministries, particularly for those in the congregation who are physically or emotionally in need.

They service and nurture the church family through visitations and/or communication with our shut-ins, the sick, the grieving, and the elderly via cards and phone calls, in cooperation with the minister.

They also prepare and administer communion each month
Participate in baptisms, dedications, and funerals
Play a role in the accepting of new members.
