VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!

Vacation Bible School 2021 – Knights of North Castle – is a wrap!  We had 58 enrolled campers, and 41 adult leaders, teachers, and youth volunteers gathered in the transformed Nahigian Hall.  Everyone did a wonderful job working together with the common goal of sharing the love and truths of Jesus!

The children were fully knighted with the Armor of God - equipped with the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Justice, the Shoes of Peace, the Shield of Faith and the Helmet of Salvation. It was amazing to see children in waves of smiles and excitement enter our doors and leave singing worship songs on repeat, each day.

One of the wonderful things that our VBS program does every year is raising money for a Christian humanitarian organization. This year, we decided to support a 2-year-old little boy in our community, Garen Yepremian, who has needed a kidney donor.  Each morning, the children were encouraged to place a small donation into the basket as they learned to give to others in need.  Our families raised $850 in 5 short days for little Garen!!  We are grateful to the Lord for the recent news of Garen's successful surgery as they found a donor!  Please join us as we continue to pray for the Yepremian family and for Garen's continued recovery.

We were overwhelmed with the amount of support from our dedicated volunteers and loyal parents and from our community through donations.  This year, VBS cost over $3K, which was exponentially higher than years past.  We rented a tent for outdoor games & activities, purchased sanitizing wipes and dispensers, program material, and decorations.  We are thrilled to share that our expenses were fully funded!  We are truly humbled and grateful!
